Frequently asked questions
Is my file sent to a server?
Yes — unlike most tools on this site, this conversion needs software (LibreOffice/Ghostscript/a headless browser) that can't run in your browser, so the file is uploaded, converted on our server, and then deleted. It's not stored beyond the time it takes to process your request.
What happens to my file after conversion?
It's deleted from our temporary storage within about 2 hours of the job finishing, whether or not you downloaded the result.
Does this run the page's JavaScript, or just its static HTML?
It runs JavaScript the same as a real browser visiting the page, so client-rendered content — a React app, a page that loads data after the initial HTML — still appears correctly in the PDF.
