What is a Girar PDF?

Rotation corrects pages that came out sideways or upside-down — usually from a scanner that didn't detect page orientation, or a document photographed in landscape — without needing to re-scan or re-photograph anything. Beyond rotating everything at once, quick odd/even-page controls handle the common duplex-scanning case where only every other page came out sideways, and a custom page list covers anything more specific.

No — Girar PDF runs entirely in your browser using JavaScript/WebAssembly. Your PDF is never sent to a server.

Is there a file size limit?

Free use covers files up to 100MB per file; signing up for Pro raises that to 500MB.

Can I rotate just a few pages instead of the whole document?

Yes — pick "Selected pages" and type specific page numbers or ranges, as well as apply one rotation to the whole file, for documents where only some pages came out sideways.

Can I rotate only the odd or only the even pages?

Yes — the "Odd pages" and "Even pages" buttons handle this in one click, which is the common case for a duplex-scanned document where every other page came out sideways.

Does rotating a PDF affect whether its text is still selectable or searchable?

No — rotation only changes each page's display orientation; any selectable or searchable text underneath is untouched and reads normally once the page is rotated the right way up.

Is rotating here different from just rotating in a PDF viewer's print dialog?

Yes — a print-dialog rotation only changes how that one print job renders; this permanently changes the page's stored orientation in the file itself, so it opens rotated correctly everywhere from then on.
