What is a Rogner un PDF?
Cropping trims excess white margin or scanner bleed from every page at once — useful for a PDF exported with oversized default margins, or a scan that captured part of the flatbed background around the actual document. Is my PDF uploaded anywhere?
No — Rogner un PDF runs entirely in your browser using JavaScript/WebAssembly. Your PDF is never sent to a server.
Is there a file size limit?
Free use covers files up to 100MB per file; signing up for Pro raises that to 500MB.
What unit are the crop margins measured in?
Points — the standard PDF unit, where 72 points equal 1 inch. A typical 0.5-inch margin is 36 points.
Does cropping delete the trimmed content, or just hide it from view?
It changes the page's visible boundary, which is how PDF viewers and printers decide what to render — but that's a display-boundary change, not the same guarantee as Redact PDF's burned-in removal for genuinely sensitive material.
Can I crop a different amount off each side instead of a uniform margin?
Yes — top, bottom, left, and right margins are set independently, either by dragging the crop box's corners or by typing exact point values, so an unevenly scanned page can be trimmed to match on all sides.
Can I crop just some pages instead of the whole document?
Yes — choose "This page only" to crop just the page you're viewing, or "Selected pages" and type a list like "1,3,5-7". The default, "All pages," applies the same crop box everywhere.
