Can I extract the same page more than once, to repeat it?
No — each page appears once in the output even if you list it twice; use Reorder PDF Pages afterward if you need a page duplicated.
Does extracting pages also shrink the resulting file size?
Usually yes, roughly proportionally — a 4-page extract from a 40-page PDF is about a tenth of the content, though fonts referenced by the extracted pages are still embedded in full.
