No — Numériser en PDF runs entirely in your browser using JavaScript/WebAssembly. Your PDF is never sent to a server.
Is there a file size limit?
Free use covers files up to 100MB per file; signing up for Pro raises that to 500MB.
Does this automatically crop or straighten a photo taken at an angle?
Not automatically — there's no edge detection that finds the document for you. But you can straighten any page yourself: click "Straighten," drag the 4 corner handles onto the document's actual edges in the photo, and it's warped flat into a proper rectangle.
What does the "Enhance" option actually do?
It's a real auto-contrast pass, not a cosmetic filter — it finds the darkest and lightest tones actually present in the photo (ignoring the extreme 1% as outliers) and stretches that range to full black-to-white. A dim or washed-out photo gets genuinely brighter and more legible; it isn't guaranteed to help a photo that's already well-lit.
Can I mix live camera captures with photos I already have saved?
Yes — you can add pages both by capturing live and by uploading existing photos, then reorder them together into one final PDF.
