What is a Audio-Schneider?
Trimming is for pulling one usable section out of a longer recording — a 30-second clip from a 20-minute podcast episode, the actual song out of a longer live recording, or removing dead air from the start and end of a voice memo — without needing a full audio editor installed.
How to use the Audio-Schneider

- Drag the start/end handles to pick the section you want
- Download just that section, trimmed on your device

Dragging the start handle to 1:15 and the end handle to 1:45 on a 5-minute recording exports just that 30-second section as a new file, leaving the original untouched.

Is my audio file uploaded anywhere?
No — Audio-Schneider runs entirely in your browser using JavaScript/WebAssembly. Your audio file is never sent to a server.
Is there a file size limit?
Free use covers files up to 100MB per file; signing up for Pro raises that to 500MB.
Why does this need a modern browser?
This tool runs a real audio engine (FFmpeg, compiled to WebAssembly) inside the page, which needs a browser feature called SharedArrayBuffer to work. Every current version of Chrome, Firefox, Edge, and Safari supports it — if you see a compatibility warning, try updating your browser.
