What is a Rabattrechner?
A one-step version of a calculation people usually do in their head at the register or while shopping online — enter the sticker price and the advertised discount to see exactly what you'll pay and exactly how much you're saving, without doing the percentage math yourself.

Formula
Sale Price = Original Price × (1 − Discount% ÷ 100) | Amount Saved = Original Price − Sale Price
The discount percentage is subtracted from 100%, and the result is applied as a multiplier to the original price.

A $80 jacket marked 25% off comes to a $60 sale price, saving $20 — useful for quickly comparing a "25% off" sign against a "$20 off" sign on an identical item to see they're actually the same deal here.
Common mistakes
- Adding two sequential discounts together instead of applying them one after another — 20% off followed by 10% off is not a flat 30% off.
- Confusing "25% off" (the discount) with the price you'll actually pay (75% of the original, not 25%).
