Free use covers files up to 100MB per file; signing up for Pro raises that to 500MB.
Does this work on scanned PDFs?
No — comparison is based on the PDF's actual text content, not its appearance. A scanned page with no embedded text (an image only) has nothing to extract, so it won't show meaningful differences. Run OCR first if you need to compare scanned documents.
Does this catch formatting-only changes, like a font or margin change, or just text?
Just text content — this compares the extracted words, not visual layout, so a font or spacing change with identical wording won't show as a difference.
Can I compare three or more versions of a document at once?
No — this compares exactly two PDFs at a time. For more versions, compare them pairwise (v1 vs v2, then v2 vs v3) rather than all at once.
