What is a Dividir PDF?
Splitting is useful when one PDF actually contains documents that need to travel separately — a combined invoice-and-receipt export where only the receipt should go to accounting, or a scanned batch of individual forms bundled into one file. Pick one page to split at for a simple two-way cut, enter several page ranges to pull out multiple sections at once, or split every N pages to chunk a long document automatically.

Is my PDF uploaded anywhere?
No — Dividir PDF runs entirely in your browser using JavaScript/WebAssembly. Your PDF is never sent to a server.
Is there a file size limit?
Free use covers files up to 100MB per file; signing up for Pro raises that to 500MB.
Can I split a PDF into more than two pieces at once?
Yes — switch to "Split by ranges" and enter one semicolon-separated range per output file (e.g. "1-3;4-8;9-12"), or "Split every N pages" to chunk the whole document automatically. Three or more resulting files download together as one ZIP.
Can I turn every page into its own separate PDF?
"Split every N pages" with N set to 1 does exactly that — a 20-page PDF becomes 20 single-page files, downloaded together as one ZIP.
Does splitting also make each half smaller?
Not directly — each half keeps the same embedded fonts and images as the original, so the two files' sizes add up close to the source. Run Compress PDF afterward if you also need a smaller file.
What happens if I split at the very last page?
The first file gets every page and the second file is empty — pick a page before the last one so both halves actually contain something.
