Why does this need a modern browser?
This tool runs a real audio engine (FFmpeg, compiled to WebAssembly) inside the page, which needs a browser feature called SharedArrayBuffer to work. Every current version of Chrome, Firefox, Edge, and Safari supports it — if you see a compatibility warning, try updating your browser.
