What is a CSV to Excel?
A raw CSV file opens fine in Excel already, but packaging it as a proper .xlsx workbook avoids Excel's own import quirks — like silently reformatting a leading-zero ZIP code or a date-looking string — and lets you hand over several related CSVs as sheets in one file instead of multiple attachments.
How to use the CSV to Excel

- Download the Excel (.xlsx) file
Example
Adding three CSVs (january.csv, february.csv, march.csv) creates one workbook with three sheets named after each file, letting a recipient open one .xlsx instead of juggling three separate files.

No — CSV to Excel runs entirely in your browser using JavaScript/WebAssembly. Your document is never sent to a server.
Is there a file size limit?
Free use covers files up to 100MB per file; signing up for Pro raises that to 500MB.
Are formulas and formatting preserved?
No — only cell values carry over. CSV is a plain-text format with no concept of formulas, cell formatting, multiple sheets, or charts, so converting in either direction keeps values only.
